CRS 2015 Guber Race: The Unifiers Extol Supporters For Steadfastness As Eworo Submits Nomination Form In Abuja
Project Frewogolead according to the group, is an acronym of “Francis Eworo for good leadership.”
The statement from the secretariat of the promoters of the idea,
Volunteers for Project Frewogolead, working in collaboration with the
Unifiers stated thus; “We are grateful to our supporters for their
patience as they have faithfully waited with us till this time. For
those that know how we operate, we are sure things have not been strange
for others we thank God.
“You need to remember that you cannot support everything just for the
purpose of pleasing everyone; you need to take a stand and support only
that which you believe in. You need to clearly state what you support
and why; you also cannot speak at length about a single topic. You need
to explain things clearly. In politics it is only normal for other
people to oppose you, your beliefs, thoughts and opinions but this
cannot be a deciding factor with regard to your personal views on
anything, you must be bold and ready to stand your ground. This can only
be achieved if you firmly believe in your own morals and values.
The message of faith, seriousness and encouragement issued to the
public further read; “Politics can bring about many persuasive speakers
who may be able to spin the truth in ways that allow people to fall prey
to half truths and lies, but you need to be firm in what you stand for
and be ready for anything without giving in to the propaganda of
others,” it stated.
Fr. Eworo returns Forms
Meanwhile, the Cross River State gubernatorial hopeful, Reverend
Father Francis Agantem Eworo while submitting his filled nomination and expression of interest forms
at the Wadata Plaza, national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic
Party, PDP in FCT, Abuja reiterated above any other ideology his
priesthood vow which center on “service to humanity”.
Speaking further, the Volunteer spokesman of the Unifiers, one of the
Frewogolead Project groups, Mr. Clement Ushie who submitted the filled
forms on behalf of Fr. Eworo, stated that the expression “Ecclesia
Semper Reformanda” in the church is interpreted to mean that the church
is in constant need of reformation, considering especially the dynamism
that characterizes existence itself. Therefore, given such sacred
responsibility of being the governor of Cross River State to a true man
of God who has passed through the training of leadership in the
seminaries and having gained so much experiences in the course of his
many years service in the vineyard of God as priest, Rev. Fr. Francis
Eworo has the unequaled capacity that people can believe in more than
any other regular politicians jostling for the office of the governor in
Cross River State.
“Thank you very much”
